LAKE MAGGIORE – BETWEEN LAKES, ISLANDS AND BEAUTIFUL GARDENS
1st Day - Lake Maggiore
Late afternoon arrival at Lake Maggiore. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.
2nd Day - Borromean Islands
Breakfast in the hotel and departure for Stresa. Meeting with the local guide, and excursion by ferry boat to the Borromean Island: “Isola Bella”, whose palace is considered one of the masterpieces of Baroque Art, and “Isola dei Pescatori” (Fisherman’s island), an old village of fishermen with a clear medieval structure. In the afternoon, departure to visit the island “Isola Madre”. Return to Stresa and free time. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd Day - Pallanza - Lake d’Orta
After breakfast, departure for Pallanza. Visit with a local guide of “Villa Taranto” and its famous gardens. Continuing to “Lago D’Orta” and visit of Orta, crossing by boat to the island “Isola San Giulio” for a visit of its Cathedral.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
4th Day - Lake Maggiore
After breakfast in the hotel, end of services.
